5 more days till were at Disneyland. so excited. but i just had foot surgery two months ago. still in pain. still in a boot. i don't want a wheelchair because its my gfs bday and i really wanna hold her hand and i don't wanna be a fat girl in a scooter. seriously. does anyone know how hard it is to get the assistance pass and what kind of documentation i should bring.
I hope you and your girlfriend have a lovely time and the two of you hold hands and giggle and enjoy all the magic, regardless if you decide on a wheelchair or not. I'll be there in five days too, the weather should be perfect :) xoxo - MrsMears

Can you tell me what your figures comment means? because im overweight? Do you think i broke my foot and got screws put in because i wanted a special pass??? Obviously not! I want to go and walk which I've only been doing now for three weeks. So shall i not be going to Disneyland? In your opinion.. - qtgonewild 3.8 #14419 10:06AM
Please don't assume what Katrayher's "figures" comment means. There are a lot of people that try to abuse the system. - Armenda 983.6 #89 10:16AM
No documentation is needed, that would be a HIPPA violation. Go to City Hall and talk to a CM about your situation. They will let you know if you qualify. - Armenda

That's why i asked about documentation? I just want to make this experience enjoyable and not have the pain be the only thing i remember. Although it probably will be anyways. - qtgonewild 3.8 #14419 10:25AM
And you ask not to "assume" what the figures comment means when clearly katrayher is making the assumption that I'm trying to abuse the system. I was simply interested in an answer not anyones assumption of my situation which they know nothing about. - qtgonewild 3.8 #14419 10:31AM
As someone who works in the medical field, I suggest you don't do anything to damper your healing process. You don't want to reinjure yourself because you are stubborn and won't use a wheelchair. If she truly cares about you, I'm sure she will understand. But I can only give you my suggestion. - Armenda 983.6 #89 10:31AM
@qtgonewild we try to keep the negativity and drama to a min. in here. There are always possibilities that a misfire on the submit button could have occurred. My point?! Unless you know for sure what someone ment or intended by their comment you shouldn't fly off the handle and start being full on defensive about their comment. - Donaldfan_532 225.8 #1291 10:47AM
Well I'm a grown woman and i can say that there is not one positive meaning for the post that says "figures" and it really wouldn't take a genius to figure out that is was a negative comment. No assumption necessary. - qtgonewild

Okay, well you are new around here and I'm trying to help. No need to get offended. I hope you and your girlfriend have a great trip. - Armenda 983.6 #89 10:56AM
Woah. Sounds like you got your question answered at any rate, so how bout's a little calming down now lol. - madsdad 1120.6 #73 10:57AM

Hey hey, not tryin to be unfriendly. Just tryin to point out you got your question answered which is a good thing. Have fun. - madsdad 1120.6 #73 11:14AM
I can't see the Katrayher comment because I have her blocked, which is what I suggest you do. Wouldn't be the first time she's said something rude in someone else's tough time. She made a terrible night worse for me by doing it so save yourself the headache. - cynDOLEwhip
