Little miss tonight! Had to escape reality for awhile! Her MRI went well on Monday, even though the results weren't what we were hoping for! Her left kidney is absent, her sacrum ends at S2, instead of S5 like its suppose too, she has type 2 split cord malformation and her bladder is enlarged with trabeculation! And the most frustrating part is that all of that went undected and overlooked in numerous prenatal ultrasounds! She is scheduled to see an urologist to confirm that she will need surgery to correct the hydronephrosis on her right kidney, that I forget to mention has gone from mild to moderate! She is in good spirits and I am trying to take everything in! Thankful for Disneyland , where I can forget about reality for awhile!
She is a sweet baby and I am praying for her. Lord, we know You can do anything You want for us if it is Your will for our lives, so I ask you to please heal this little one, with a smile so bright as hers, she is truly Your child. Help her mommy and family feel Your presence and guidance and peace in all the days ahead. Love them forever Oh Lord, in Jesus's name I pray, Amen. Oh wow.. I understood every bit of those diagnoses. Sometimes things aren't what we expect them to be, but we learn to deal with what we've been handed in life with prayers, love & support from others. MW is more than just wait times.. a ton of us are here for each other when we're going through a difficult time (: Prayers that you and your family get some answers.
