I'm extremely excited for this coming December. We are doing an early Christmas vacation with the whole family. I haven't had a chance to stay at the newly renovated Disneyland Hotel, so does anyone have any feedback on the new renos? Has anyone ever gotten Disney Vacation planners to decorate a room with a tree and decorations? I'm definitely thinking of doing that. Anyone have any idea of pricing for that? Disney doesn't have their pricelist for 2012 yet, as they are still working on this year's tree theme.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for our honeymoon and LOVED it! I posted a full review on Yelp - you should look there for more reviews of the hotel 😊 - sarahnimal  180.0 #1860 1:17PM
Thanks! I will check out your review. - dccp  348.3 #416 5:53PM
I have stayed and the reno is amazing. Not just the rooms but the pool areas as well. The new fireplace outside and of course the reno of restaurants yippee. I absolutely love the Grand but DLH is still my favorite. - ShariRenee  1505.2 #50 1:28PM
I'm really looking forward to the new fireplace! Hopefully it won't be too chilly out for enjoying the pool. It will be nice to have a bigger pool deck than at the Grand Californian. - dccp  348.3 #416 5:55PM
I have never stayed there or had a room decorated for me, but it sounds amazing!!! Post pics if you do it!! - JessM4  269.5 #827 1:40PM
Sure thing! I will also post any holiday themed in-room celebrations I find out about once they are posted in a couple weeks. - dccp  348.3 #416 5:56PM
We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and loved it. The new pools and watersides are great and my little guy still talks about the headboards that light up and play music. We did room service and it was amazing. Request the adventure tower if you have little boys enjoy! - brealover  298.0 #618 1:59PM
Surprised my wife with the tree last year. We stayed at the grand Californian though. Tree was decorated with mickey head ornaments and really tasty candy ornaments. - charming777  302.5 #598 2:04PM
Oh, that sounds like so much fun! - meridafan  1034.2 #83 6:25PM
We stayed there in may and it was great! The service was amazing, room very comfortable and clean of course, and it was really very magical. My only complaint was that the free wifi was very sketchy our entire visit, but they had wired Internet so we solved the no Internet problem easily! - jalensmommy  150.1 #2286 6:05PM
It's a great place to stay! Fireworks on your headboard. Comfortable beds. Definitely Bigger room than in the Grand. Nice bathrooms. Love The new poils lots of great places to eat. Go, and enjoy your stay! - meridafan  1034.2 #83 6:23PM
We love the DL hotel, we stay there just about every trip! We have done the tree and stockings for the room and our kids were in amazement! We told them they had been do good that year that Santa must have sent them a special treat! It was priceless. Now we bring the tree back every year and decorate our own room ( the kids are older now)- but we buy new Disney ornaments to decorate the tree in the room, then take it home and display in our entry way. It's great! If memory serves me correct the tree is about $200- $250 and the stockings were about $100 each. Pricey- but we thought it was worth it for the amazing experience our kids had and our memories! - HpplyEvrAftr  221.8 #1335 8:19PM
