Here are some food choices I enjoyed during our recent trip. From left to right working my way down we start with breakfast at Story Tellers Cafe, I enjoyed the Classic Denver Omelette- three eggs with bell peppers, onions, ham, chives and monterey jack served with country potatoes, juice and toast for $16.99. This was very tasty and a nice touch with the gooey Jack cheese. Next is my lunch selection from our "Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" tour. I chose the Roasted Turkey Sandwich: ciabatta bread with mustard aioli spread, lettuce and tomato, homemade potato chips, and a Mickey chocolate carmel tart for dessert. This was a very good sandwich. I don't care for mustard but found this spread to be enjoyable and the dessert was excellent and very rich. Next up is from last trip from Flo's V8 Cafe and is the Pork Loin with Coca-Cola BBQ sauce complete with two sides and a garlic chive roll for $11.49, I enjoyed mine with the vegetarian baked beans and cole slaw. This is classic comfort food and I enjoyed the sweet sauce a lot and the pork was very tender. Next we have the Signature cinnamon roll from Fidler Fifer, and Practical Cafe for $4.99 I believe. I was not super impressed with this but most likely due to the fact that it wasn't very warm. Next we have The Cove Bar's Tri Tip Sliders- slow-roasted and topped with mojo criollo sauce, crispy onions, and toasted brioche for $9.99. These were absolutely delicious, enough said. In DTD at Catal I dined on their Hanger steak- sherry vinegar glaze, tetilla de vaca cheese, Yukon mashed potatoes, mushrooms- $28.00. This was a beautifully prepared cut of meat with great flavor complimented by the glaze. Lastly is the Rainforest Cafe's Cisco & Pancho- A Flat Iron steak broiled to order and served with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes and toast. $13.99. This was a great way to start the day and a surprisingly good considering I don't care much for this eatery. All of these prices do not reflect AP discounts as I figured you all could do the math based on your particular level of pass.
Thank you, very well done (pardon the pun)! -
