yeah, been in the service for 4yrs and 5 months right now. i have a 5yrs contract, and i still can't decide if i should re-enlist. There are a lot of factors to consider (mostly it is medical stuff). - otilegna 854.8 #106 9:57PM

I wish I had an answer. Somedays, I wish I would have stayed in, others I'm glad I'm out. My Army job didn't convert to civilian world, so I had to go to school. Kind of hard. I love my job now, but it wasn't easy. It was hard to get acclimated to living with "non" military. Missed the camaraderie that military has. "We" understand. I had to learn how to fit in. There is no right or wrong choice. Consequences, good and bad, for staying in and getting out. Just be sure of the choice, and you still will look back and wonder if you made the right one. Please add me. Active Army 11 years, hubs was 6 years. Daughter served 4 in the Navy, and both sons still serving in the Navy. One is returning from deployment next month, the other is on sub duty. Ah, thanks guys. We are a proud military family. It is really an honor for us to have served. So many people have their ways of serving. Police, fire, rescue, RN, teachers, Social workers, and on.
