I am getting close to booking an early December birthday/Christmas trip for my soon-to-be-6-year-old son! I am really looking forward to experiencing Disneyland with the Christmas decorations and changes. I adore Christmas (I celebrate it for like 3 months lol) and I'd really like to know what are your favorite Disneyland Christmastime events/tips/memories etc?
I went to the Disneyland website and they give a brief description of what holidays are like in the parks, but I'm sure Mousewaiters can let me know what changes occur and what goes on to make the parks extra special during that time of year! I think I remember seeing something about it snowing on Main St? What else is different? I can't wait to hear what you all love about Christmastime at Disneyland!
The Christmas fireworks are great and followed by snow which is amazing! Special foods in the park including the giant hand made candy canes. The beautiful tree on Main Street and decorations throughout the parks(new decorations in DCA this year). IASW is holiday theamed. New this year is ice skating in DTD. You're going to love it! - NikkiMickey

Oh my goodness, ice skating?! That would be so fun - jalensmommy 150.1 #2293 2:45PM
If you're there for multiple nights, try to watch the fireworks from both Main Street and iasw. Both are spectacular. Main Street is the best spot for all the effects and the big picture, but small world is less crowded and its easier to play in the snow. But don't try to eat the snow. It's soap.😷😂 - LittleAprilShowers

Haha thank you! I will be sure to keep a close eye on my almost 2-yr-old! I'm sure he'd love to sample the snow lol - jalensmommy 150.1 #2293 2:46PM
