Trying to decide between staying at the Grand or Disneyland Hotel for our next visit. I have 2 small boys, which hotel would you all recommend for them?
DL Hotel, bigger rooms. The Grand is more expensive and has the smallest rooms of all the DLR hotels. You could stay one or two night more at DL hotel than Grand. - splashphotoCM

I have stayed at all three resort hotels and love DLH the best! I have two young kids and they love it there too. The pools are so much fun and the headboard rules. I love the Grand too but the rooms are smaller and your view can be hit or miss. I have had concierge level park views and views of the valet area. My 4 y/o calls the DLH "Mickey mouse's hotel" and hasn't named the others. Clearly, one had an impact. You'll have fun at whichever one you pick! Have a great time. - tballzz

DL Hotel, one thing you really get that Disney feeling there. - Lelundrial

I love the Grand but with kids DL for sure. It feels like Disney and the rooms are Disney themed and the pool/restaurants are more kid friendly. - ShariRenee

I just got back from staying at The Grand. I didn't think I'd say this, but I liked the DL Hotel better. Now, if you can spend big bucks and go for a really good view room I'd say go for The Grand. - Tom

Yeah. I ended up back in a corner with a view of other hotel rooms. I still enjoyed staying there, but the view was meh. - Tom 3759.5 #7 4:56PM
The Grand is more for the view and convenience of being at DCA's door step. I would recommend the Grand but it is very pricey. - SThooray

We loved the DLH. Our 4 year olds love the pool there and the decorations in each of the tower lobbies were fun for them to look at. The headboards on the beds were a great way to get them to settle down at night to. We would play the song and then tell them we would leave the castle on as long as they payed down. - Roobug

I have stayed at the Grand twice. Both times concierge level with a view of the park. I must say it was amazing to sit on our balcony at night after the park closed and have a coffee. The concierge piece was excellent! The beds were the best and it was very convenient for DCA. Very spendy but worth it at the time. Hope this helps. - theluckeone
