Earlier. For two days in a row, the birds circle around at 6:15pm. It was an amazing sight!

I heard there's a remake in the works to come out either late next year or early 2014. This makes me sad because nobody should ever mess with Hitchcock movies. - KermitFan13 407.8 #321 1:31AM
These birds have been doing this since the park was built. If you ever get a chance to talk to the old CM's especially the ones who work at the Main Street Train Station, they'll tell you that these are descendants of the birds that were in the Orange Groves where DL was carved out of. The groves were owned by the Dominguez family who Walt purchased the land from. Ron Dominguez the son, told him this. Ron worked at the park and became Executive Vice President of Walt Disney Attractions, currently Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, he retired after 39 years with Disney, and there is a window on Main street. I was told the story by Karen Ackley who was Store Operations. http://disney.go.com/disneyinsider/history/legends/Ron-Dominguez - splashphotoCM

I am not sure if it still happens but back in my day all of the birds would do this strange thing about 630 every night also from Tom Sawyers Island and all leave at the same time and then fly around in no pattern but in a huge group and then do a few laps and then vanish...maybe its the same occurrence I remember from my days working there, don't know..It use to really trip out guests waiting for fantasmic and saving seats that early near river belle..we use to go over and tell them...ok watch your food for droppings and they would not believe us then bam they all went crazy flying around - Dave

I am not afraid of much, and I like birds most of the time, but in large quantities circling my head I might freak a bit, when I was little, my sister used to make me watch "The Birds" and I would freak out at the scary eyes of the killed people, I had nightmares for years. My mom was so mad at her for that!! As long as they stay high above, I shall try not to scream!! - secretagentangel

When I was in college, there was a nest on Westwood blvd and the birds would divebomb passersby. I thought it was funny until I felt the grasping of talons on my head! πππ - bluefairy 627.4 #174 1:52AM

Every time I see birds doing that, I think of The Day After Tomorrow. I keep watching them to see if they all head south. That means I need to head south as well. - Lelundrial
