I haven't been on MW for a while. But I really want to go to the parks. None of my friends can make it but I'm thinking of making a solo trip. I know all of you would say do it. But I'm a little afraid. It would be a 4 hr trip there and home. ...
i did a solo night. never met mw'ers, but think i saw a few. i was scared getting there, but once i walked in, it was on like donkey kong, i was speedwalking the whole night, not having to wait for the kiddo and hubs to follow!! - tinkerbella728

Solo trip is cool cause you can be social and joke/conversate with all your mouse-neighbors at the park.
Even being solo, you can still have a great fun time and you can help make other peoples day even better with a witty joke or simple compliment.
Just remember that at disneyland you are always among friends :)

Did a forced solo day when my husband got food poisoning on our trip. I decided to do the things I wouldn't normally do-draw all the characters at the animation studio, walk through innovations, paddle the canoes around Tom sawyer island, sit and watch people experiencing Disney magic (or meltdowns-lol) ride the train all the way around and take ridiculous photo pass pictures. It ended up being a very memorable day! Try it-I hope you find some new Disney magic in your sOlo trip. - missyandpaul

You should totally do it. While it is nice to have someone to share with,if you go alone you can make your own schedule, and to do whatever you want to do. That can be a lot of fun as well. - Bibba

I recently made my first solo trip, and I was a little scared at first too. I was afraid that it wouldn't be as special going alone, but that fear was quickly alleviated once I walked through the gate. I have been hundreds of times, but I began noticing things that I have never noticed before. I was more observant of tiny details and was able to take in more of the pure atmosphere at the parks. Plus, there is no greater sense of freedom (single rider is also a huge plus). Yes, it was a different experience, but it was unforgettable. I guarantee you will not regret it. - JRDrummer_CM

I go solo all the time and I live 3 hours away. I love being able to slow down and look at the park the way I want to. Single rider lines are great! - verolly

I use to go solo all the time and it's great. I'm single again and as much as I enjoyed going with my ex and loved our shared experiences, sometimes solo is even better. Just do it you won't regret it!!!! - acejedi

I'd say do it if you want to! I don't have a pass anymore but I used to go by myself a lot to buy stuff like bday gifts since I went to school very close to the parks.. It's kind of a liberating feeling walking under that tunnel alone :) u can watch shows u normally wouldn't do and go as fast (or slow) as ud like and take a lot of photos! I know it can feel weird if u'd never done it before but if u really want to, go for it :) hope this helps and u have a great time! - SarahJoshDisney

the four hour drive isn't so bad. I have done it a few times. By yourself it is easier to go to a meet up. I'm always with people that don't want to go. - DebbyMouse7531
