I had a wonderful time yesterday and today with my hubby, sis, bro-in-law, niece, nephews and my bro-in-law's side of the family at DL. They all came to spend this week at DL as a family. My bro-in-law used to come with his family every spring break growing up. His dad had planned this trip many months ago and the grandkids have been counting the days. Two months ago, my bro-in-law's dad found out that he has stage 4 brain cancer. This trip was the last things on everyone's minds. His dad still insisted that they come bc he wanted to especially share DL with his 5 grandkids, which he had never done. Last week he completed his first round of chemo. They weren't sure how he would handle a week at DL, but he did ok. Being there with him today made me really thankful for family and the memories we all made. Just watching him being so happy to spend time with family and live in the now is what DL is all about!!! It was hard to say goodbye to him tonight, but we continue pray that he will beat this!! ✨✨✨✨✨✨

What a time for amazing memories to be made.. I have kind of the same same story from 2010 with my Gramma. A lifetime if memories in the park and that last trip with her meant more than anything. Prayers and pixie dust to your family Cara!! He can fight this! - melissa_ficent
