Good afternoon! This day in Disney history, Oct 17th, 1937. Donald's identical triplet nephews Huey, Dewey & Louie, debut in Disney's Donald Duck Sunday newspaper comic strip. The three were created by Ted Osborne and Al Taliaferro. The mischievous little tykes arrived @ Donald’s home after he received a letter reading, “Dear Donald, I am sending your angel nephews, Louie, Huey & Dewey, to stay w/you while their father is in the hospital. A giant firecracker exploded under his chair. The little darlings are SO playful. I hope you enjoy them. Your cousin, Della.”
