That awkward moment when you see a pin you've been looking for... and it's fake!!! But props to the 2 CMs today who have taken the fake ones off their lapels after I let them know it was fake... :)
Would anyone be so kind as to ejumikates me about this "prop" phrase? I've never understood it. I keep thinking I have to hand somebody something and have a conference with a script supervisor. Perhaps teach me the origin if this vernacular? Please and thank you. - Butterlina

Urban Dictionary says...
Slang term for "accolades", "proper respect", or "just dues". Popularized in the 1980s by rappers who shortened the term "propers" which was in turn being used as an abbreviated version of "proper respect" at least by the 1960s. - GoofyMomma

Thank you. The only other word I could think of was "apropo" (sic) and was trying to make a connection. Sorry that I am very un-urban. - Butterlina 1307.8 #62 7:26PM
I kind of like the term "proper respect." I'm bringing prospers back - ladylikesdisney 921.5 #95 7:31PM
