Disneyland First: seeing someone get arrested outside the DL gates. 3 security and what looked like an undercover cop arresting her. Not sure why..
Tuesday a man gave security a hard time about not being able to take in his pocket knife. Then he threw it at the feet of the two cast members at check in. Security made him pick it up, place it gently on the table and suggested he apologize to the CM's for his uncalled for behavior. - bugsmom1208

He's lucky he wasn't arrested. - MyPark 943.8 #91 7:26AM
I'm guilty of taking my knife to Disneyland. It's part of what I carry with me everyday like my wallet or watch or my ID. It's force of habit to grab it and throw it in my pocket. Undercover DL security saw me walk through the bag check area with it and discretely pulled me aside and asked me to surrender it or to take it back to my car. I apologized and took it back car. - NEMFLCN 29.8 #4375 7:51AM
As well you should, NEMFLCN. And I'd like to say thank you to our DL security for keeping us all safe. - MyPark 943.8 #91 8:11AM
@MyPark,in order for that guy to get arrested he would have to committ a crime first, and from the sound of the story, it doesn't seem like he did. - NotNKansasAnymor 174.2 #1940 9:13AM
He threw the knife at the CM. Maybe not taken to jail, but could have easily been taken into custody by DL security. They were being lenient. - MyPark 943.8 #91 9:34AM
Maybe it wasn't made clear enough in the story, but when they said "threw it at the feet of the CMs" I took that to mean he threw it at the ground where they were standing. If he didn't actually hit them with it, or if he had no intent to hit them with it, there's technically no crime. The only thing they have there is him acting like an idiot. It's easy enough to kick him off their private property. - NotNKansasAnymor 174.2 #1940 2:21PM
You must've missed Tower of Terror guy - cesium55

We saw security swoop in on MONDAY! Not the in white security but plain clothes! We went through the bag check and these girls behind us did too. This very la rge bald man came up flashed his badge and said "Ladies, Disney security. I would like a word with u over here regarding you bags." My hubby thinks the girls were high on something..... It was NUTS how he just was BLAM there. - templeclan

There was a group of early twenty something's in line at RSR that were pretty drunk starting to cause a scene also. It sucks when there are so many little ones around, do that at magic mountain not here. Nothing was as bad as the leap year night, that's the worst I've ever seen it in 38 years of coming to the park. - acejedi

Wow, people need to be on good behavior for all the kiddos around! :( - stephigo2 16.3 #5476 8:46AM
I had Disney security come up to ask me about what I had said to someone. They were very professional and believed my side about not dropping f-bombs... - garrlusdland

I always try my best not to curse at DL took me a while to control it. Now I just say "Le Poop" 😂 which can be referred to any curse word and my husband just knows what I mean. Idk where I got that word from 😂😂😂 - KladiaDisneyNinja 195.4 #1694 8:11AM
Lol. I am used to being around young kiddos so at disney I even go as far as spelling words like "bad" "mad" etc just from spelling it around my niece! My hubby is like "you are being L-a-m-e" haha - stephigo2 16.3 #5476 6:59PM

I've seen them walking the dogs along the fence line on either side of the gates quite often. - GarnerPhotography 321.4 #514 9:45AM
Maybe the dog was looking for ghosts O.O - stephigo2 16.3 #5476 7:00PM
One time my dad was standing on the edge of a street waiting for me, and there was a man who stood next to my dad. Dad became a little suspicious when the man was a little too close for comfort. My dad said "is there something I can help u with??" And the man replied "I'm sorry I'm standing so close, but I have to keep a close watch on a celebrity in the park, and you're standing right where I can see him. U can't tell u who it is, though." It was so cool!! - ElizabethSwon

Wow! It wasn't a paparazzi though? Lol - stephigo2 16.3 #5476 7:01PM
It's amazing how security just appears out of nowhere than disappears just as fast. - debzdo

My mom and I were just talking about this! They appear, do their job quietly and efficiently, and then poof they are gone. They are very nice though if you are the reporting party, they treated us with respect :) Thank you Disney Security. - tiggertwin

They seem very respectful and to do their job quietly and efficiently. With the young woman I saw being arrested I couldn't hear anything like yelling and they seemed to just be surrounding her to avoid causing a scene and staying as quiet as possible - stephigo2 16.3 #5476 7:03PM
