We are going to Disneyland for our first time this Tuesday, we need suggestions for lunch and dinner where should we go....clueless
Blue Bayou for dinner, make reservations and Plaza Inn chicken dinner for lunch. Big Thunder Ranch BBQ is great and in DCA lobster nachos at the Cove Bar. - MrsSchnooks

Had those lobster nachos today for the first time and they are so goooood! - _BELLE_ 217.6 #1421 4:01PM
I know! So glad you enjoyed them! - MrsSchnooks 713.5 #142 4:07PM
I agree with MrsSchnook, Blue Bayou is best at dinner time. Big Thunder Ranch has some yummy corn bread :) - LuvsMimisHouse 113.5 #2891 4:51PM
Blue Bayou changed their dinner menu and that's the only time you can get the surf and turf. Soooooo good. - MrsSchnooks 713.5 #142 5:09PM
I think we need more info on your likes and expectations. Like, are you a foodie? Fine dining? Snacking? Fast food? What's your budget? Special occasion? Kids? Otherwise, the suggestions will be all over the place and may not help you much. 😜 - bluefairy

I like easting dinner in DCA, Carthay circle is great, although you may want to make reservations... - madsdad

yes madsdad is right, that is my new favorite. Don't forget to watch bartender in the lounge use the magic ice machine. - ShariRenee 1576.2 #51 3:47PM
My favorite lunch is at Pacific Wharf in DCA. Clam Chowder in a sourdough bowl and a beer...it's crowded on busy days but there's lots of tables! - mouseprincess

Oooo I hope you have fun!! I suggest this somewhat secret Mexican place! It's so good and not to many people go there - DinaDarling

If it is a secret and they've never been to Disneyland how will they find it without a name? - aidensmama 339.4 #446 4:33PM
It's called a map. - DinaDarling 87.5 #3226 11:47PM
Whoa, that was a little rude. It would help if you gave more information, there are at least 2 Mexican eateries within the parks, and 1 in dtd. - bluefairy 628.9 #175 2:30AM
Babycakes1212, if you like Mexican food, There's Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland (DL), Rancho Cucomunga (CA Adventure), and Tortilla Joe's (Downtown Disney). I'm not sure which one DinaDarling is referring to. We like eating at Rancho del Zocalo because it's a nice atmosphere over in Frontierland. :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar 439.1 #288 5:53AM
Sorry, *Cucina Cucomunga* in CA Adventure. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 439.1 #288 5:54AM
Skip lunch! Eat cupcakes and popcorn and churros and dole whips and pretzels and ... - BRabbit

If you want some options in DCA that don't require reservations, Cucina Cucomunga and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta are both good. Jolly Holiday in DL is another good place that doesn't require reservations. - MrsFletch

The corndog from the red wagon and either Blue Bayou or Big Thunder Ranch BBQ. Both have a relaxing atmosphere and good food. - verolly

Definitely the corndog from the red wagon - Bengal BBQ in Frontierland is a hidden treasure (great chicken and veggie kabobs) - eat at a table around the corner - I love the made to order Cobb Salads at the Plaza Inn, and don't mean to burst the bubble, but Blue Bayou is uber expensive (great on ambiance, but to me, the food isn't worth the price anymore). My must do meal is Hungry Bear in Critter Country so I can throw fries (now sweet potato) to the ducks! Oh...and you have to have the popcorn...it's the best in the world! - msdizmaui

It really depends on what you're craving and how much you're willing to spend. If you're looking for more opinions, you can always tap on the grey tab below (to the right of Lounge) labeled Food for your convenience (: - Jacqueline
