Not sure if I should admit this or anything but if everyone could send some pixi dust my way. This week I realized I may may a Hernia and could cause me to have surgery. I'm sure everyone at some point are nervious/scared about surgeries in their life. Well that is me to a fault times ten. I'm likely going to go into a Doctor soon for final opinion. If everyone could keep me in their thoughts I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone has experienced this before and gone through the process if you could let me know what to expect. Thanks so very much my MW family.
Pixie dust and prayers coming your way. Good luck! Hope you feel better soon. I had surgery to remove my gallbladder two years ago and my husband was more nervous than me. He couldn't get time off work so my Mom was with me but when I woke up he was there. It was on St Patrick day so I wore a sequined green top hat and glitter shamrock glasses. The nurses kept coming in to see how silly I looked and all the giggling passed the time and calmed my nerves. Sounds silly but it worked! Maybe you could wear some Mouse ears? That would Definately make you feel better! - MrsSchnooks

If that happens to be where I'm heading I'll have to come up with something unique like that for sure. I go to my happy place when watching videos of Disney Attractions including the Country Bear shows. Might have to take that to watch in the doctors office and hope that brings good news my way! Thanks for the well wishes. - Donaldfan_532 225.8 #1291 2:59PM

That would be very awesome of you, thanks! Yes definately keep me posted. Do you know how long she had it/was diagnosed as having it before surgery? I discovered it myself less than a week ago. - Donaldfan_532 225.8 #1291 2:13PM
In August my boyfriend had surgery for an umbilical hernia. We had just returned from our visit to California and Disneyland when he was feeling discomfort. He had the surgery a week after he was diagnosed. His doctor said it was up to him when he wanted it. After surgery he was fine( the pain medication helped). The Doctor told him not to lift anything over 5 lbs which meant he was off from work for a month and a half ( he is a forklift operator). He said that the pain wasn't as bad as he had thought it would be. I think I was more worried about him than he was. He was still able to move around after surgery just a lot of resting and laying down when he felt pain or discomfort. Sending pixie dust your way. - McQueenGal
