This was so funny! We were sitting and enjoying some wine near the blue sky cellar. The female CM was opening the umbrella and saw a spider. She freaked. Called over the male CM to kill it. He gets under the umbrella and starts hitting it with one of those guest restaurant check books. He then starts hitting himself trying the get the spider off him because he thought it fell on him. Oh how I love the entertainment here!
I would do the same thing. I hate spiders! Hilarious though - mousejedi

It hurts my soul that people reaction to a spider is to kill it... Please respect nature and all things in it. Every time a spider is unnecessarily killed it makes my anger for society increase. This was not funny for the spider. 😔 - BambooMike

No, I am genuinely sad for the Spider... I understand people don't like Spiders, but when encountered outdoors I don't think they deserve to be killed. it just shows the lack of respect our "advanced society" has for living things.
