Good afternoon! This day in Disney history, Oct 11th, 1955. For the first time at Disneyland, Ticket books (at a cost of $2.50) are available. They contain three A, two B, and three C tickets (D tickets won't be added until the following year). Also, on this day in 1959 - The Rainbow Caverns Mine Train attraction closes in Frontierland. Do you remember it?
And FYI: if you want to see these ticket books or want to show your kids what they were, visit the Main Street Opera House to see a couple complete sets - BaseballMickey_CM

Me too! Still have a full book with the E ticket and a few others that were half used. I used to hate it when we would run out of E tickets and have to purchase more. - snowwannab 354.9 #402 3:03PM
