This time two days ago I was in Disneyland. Now I'm back at the office in my cube. The amount of sadness cannot be measured. Anyone else feel empty after visiting Disneyland and getting slapped in the face by "reality"?
Every time! Thank God for the lounge! Slap on a Disney sticker and have a lollipop. That usually helps me. Hope you get to have another trip soon! Chin up, at least the week is half over. 😃 - Duchess_SMK

The only time that I had a big letdown when returning to work was the time I came back and a new person was working at my desk. 7 hours later I was called into the office and told I Chevrolet was not picking me after Saturn closed. Other wise the happiness lasted weeks after returning. It made a lot of coworkers take their family's to Disneyland - Tealtownfan

Yes! We only make it once a year and just had our trip last week. It was amazing, but now we are all back to the daily grind. Seeing all the posts and pics on MW help me get through those rough days. - DisLUVney

Oh my gosh yes! I start work in three weeks after a year off ( baby bondin) and am terrified. So I decided I am going to deck my desk of all Disney. And decided to calm the insanity at work, work 8 hours extra a month so I could do a monthly trip to the park ( live in NorCal). That's the only way to keep calm about going back at work. 😃 - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}

Yes! Our last day in the park is always sad! I make sure to buy something for everyone. We live below Lake Tahoe so we go for 8-10 days once a year! I wish they would bring back the 8day hopper! We are planning our trip for feb.
Then that will be our last trip for awhile bc we r moving to hawaii at the end of the school year.

Yes. I cry every time we have to leave. Now that we live far away we only get to go once or twice a year. So if you see someone crying by the castle on 11/28...it's me having to go back home - waltfan

Yes!!! I get sad when we are still in the park before leaving. I say goodbye to everything! Lol then I start saying to my husband "if I was a billionaire I would live here" then he tells me I'm crazy lol I can't visit the park often because I live in Hollywood and we don't have a car so the only way to go back is either by 2 1/2 hrs of metro & bus or my sister who's a CM and has a car lol - KladiaDisneyNinja

Yeah, it's hard to go back to work, but without my job, we wouldn't be able to go to DL. So, when I return, I try not to think about the "hangover" and jump back into the swing of things--if I allow myself to wallow in it, I get too sad, lol. I'm one of the lucky few who know that (because my husband shares my love and we have the means to purchase APs) I'll be able to go to DL several times a year--most people where I'm from only get to go once or twice in their whole lives. - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Right when I leave Mickey and Friends parking structure it hits me like a ton of bricks. I have a small shrine on my desk that cheers me up though--complete with fact books, an Imagineering book, fast passes I never used, and my glow with the show ears! - JRDrummer_CM

We bought a lot of gingerbread scented soap from bath and body words during holidays. We use it throughout the year and we are reminded of HMH every time we wash our hands! - ima-pirateswife
