What's above all the shops, behind those windows? Is it offices? CM lunch rooms? I wish I had unrestricted access to the whole of Disneyland so I could explore all hidden corners
Remember that Main Street was built with the idea of force perspective. The buildings actually get smaller as the taller it gets. The only buildings that actually have a function for the upstairs area are the buildings in Town Square. Other than that, pretty much storage or the second floor doesn't exist - BaseballMickey_CM

Thanks. There has to be hidden areas around somewhere. Who gets to play basketball in the Matterhorn? Where do the cm's eat lunch? - TrueFromOzLovesDisney 312.4 #565 11:57PM
If you take a good gander at the windows you'll notice how small they are compared to the first floor. The force perspective thing is a bogus story given to us by CMs. The truth is, that's where the 7 dwarves live. That's right! I know the truth! - Philliprocks 306.6 #590 12:05AM
I know one of the places CMs can eat lunch. HM between the point where people get off the doom buggies, and where they get on. There's a break room behind the curtain adjacent to the track. - Tom 4013.8 #7 2:41AM
I believe, apart from Walt's apartment, most of the second floors are used for storage for the stores and various lighting and sound equipment. - rehull

Thanks. Wouldn't it be cool to look through them? - TrueFromOzLovesDisney 312.4 #565 9:51PM
I agree! I'd love a backstage tour! I worked primarily in DCA so I rarely walked backstage at DL.. But I'd love to see where they keep the plants for all the gorgeous flowers they grow, where the horses live that pull the trolleys on Mainstreet and much more! - SarahJoshDisney 69.6 #3465 1:27AM
Storage? Really? How boring... - WaltSentMe

I like to think they are secret apartments - ShariRenee 1576.2 #51 10:03PM
