For our trip in 2013 we want to splurge and stay at the resort. What is your favorite resort hotel and why?

The Grand is beautiful but DLH is my preference. All remodeled and very Disney and indoor/outdoor restaurants are great and not too crowded. Pool areas are more fun too. Paradise is not on DTD and you have to cross the street (plus pool is in back elevated above a parking structure) - ShariRenee

The DLH...great pools, beautiful grounds, the headboards, Trader Sams...it's just a classic Disney hotel. The only reason I would choose the GC over it would be for the balcony. - Linzee

We prefer the Grand. The overall decor is great. Excellent selection of snacks and restaurants. Only feet away from DCA. - jim4far

I agree on the DL hotel, you can't beat the total Disney atmosphere there and the remodel is fantastic! - HpplyEvrAftr

I also agree with the Disneyland Hotel. Just remodeled, and you get wonderful fireworks on your headboards! We just stayed at the Grand last week, and I missed the newness of the refurbished DLH, plus the rooms we had there this summer seemed larger than this one. Bathroom was nicer, and the water in the shower at the Grand kept going from hot to cold. Not what I really expect at those prices. It's still a great hotel though, and if you don't want to do a lot of walking to get to the parks, it is closest. But, we will probably go back to the DLH for future trips. - meridafan

I also love the DLH I love all the Disney history connected with it and my boys love the pool. I also like falling asleep with the headboard lighted up. - Roobug

Never been to PP but by far has been DH since there are a lot of Mickeys in room. Oh and the headboard is awesome on the bed. But the Grand has an awesome lobby and your a bit closer. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}

Love the Grand:). And the fact that they have bunk beds rocks!! The set of bunk beds has 3 complete twin beds!! So handy w/ kids that "need" their own beds - TigrLvnMomma

The Grand is quiescent and the views are mesmorizing. Love being on the upper levels where the tree tops are - SThooray
