I'm writing a compare and contrast essay on Disneyland and DCA for college. I was just wondering if you guys could help me out and tell me some positives and negatives of both parks. Thanks!!!! 😃

I'm sorry, I can only give you a whole lotta positives. - ScubaSteve028  812.6 #114 9:56PM
I need positives too(: - SamiInWonderland  17.0 #5388 10:01PM
Does your essay have to be positive and negative? Or can it be a compare and contrast that is based on a real place (California), and the other is more towards imaginary (fantasyland, adventureland)? Did that make sense? - Sugarbuzz  45.5 #3851 10:00PM
Well it's suppose to show similarities and differences. But I can defiantly add that, never thought of that before. Thanks!😊 - SamiInWonderland  17.0 #5388 10:02PM
Glad I could give a topic for a paragraph or two. Similarities and differences will make it better than positive and negatives. Maybe foods, atmosphere, layout of areas, themes of areas, shows, and ?? - Sugarbuzz  45.5 #3851 10:10PM
Yea thanks a lot for your ideas! - SamiInWonderland  17.0 #5388 10:15PM
Negative: Heimlich's Chew Chew Train is only at DCA. - Slotherini  886.9 #99 10:06PM
Positives DCA has an adult environment/atmosphere. With margaritas and alcohol every few steps. A cove that sure is unique place to relax. - MarshaMouse  2871.4 #15 10:18PM
I showed a couple of coworkers how to enjoy DCA without the kiddies. They can't wait to do it again. 😝 - Waites4DodgerEars  659.9 #158 11:28PM
both have a main st experience. Radiator springs has its own main st small town feel. Hollywood blvd gives another peak of a smaller LA. I think in our urban sprawl, small town feel is comfy. Disney is more orderly in its layout while dca is sprawl with themes. Dca has the adult catered atmosphere while DL is very family oriented. Love both parks - Plumiegirl  3345.9 #10 11:21PM
I feel like DCA is hotter in the summer. Landscaping is not as developed maybe? - MrsMears  212.1 #1456 11:31PM
With similarities, any park that Disney designs is modeled after the original Disneyland. They all have a mainstreet type area with a hub. Differences, they are all designed to represent the theme of the park. - Waites4DodgerEars  659.9 #158 11:32PM
I wish the parks were open later during the week in the off season. That's my only negative. The positive is everything.....it's the happiest place on earth! - coll  13.7 #5888 11:35PM
Please be wary of plagiarism, especially if your school uses Turnitin.com. That software will even search MW and find this. Good luck with your paper! Compare/contrast essays are my least favorite. - ladylikesdisney  921.5 #95 11:43PM
Okay thank you. Truthfully I already had a lot of these ideas, its just nice to discuss them to make sure I'm on track :) - SamiInWonderland  17.0 #5388 7:15AM
Negitive- it's close to berryland. - Mrs.mouse  420.8 #306 10:00PM
The pros of Disneyland consists of an enormous list! The place is so rich in history of a time were you hope to have a glimpse of when you walk through the gates. I love Disneyland history. The rides and attractions that have been there since opening day are a definite pro! I'm not really sure DL has any cons other than when it gets so crowded they close the gates 😯 I have not had the chance to go to DCA since Cars Land opened, which seems like a definite pro. (We will be visiting again in Nov~ yay!) Because I have a little one I really like the tree house for her to run around :) This seems like such little info I have shared. If you'd like to email me for more info or have other questions, please do so. txtrn80@yahoo.com :) Good luck on the report! - waltfan  191.4 #1731 10:14PM
Okay thank you soooo much! Really helpful info!😊 - SamiInWonderland  17.0 #5388 10:38PM
No dole whips in DCA, no beer in Disneyland. Possible conspiracy. - Mouse4life  1085.3 #78 10:18PM
Oh good one! - SamiInWonderland  17.0 #5388 10:37PM
Walt designed Disneyland and not California adventure. - Philliprocks  277.1 #758 10:42PM
You can put somethings along the lines of Disneyland being the original ! - AshleyLynn22  747.6 #136 11:07PM
Negatives... just that when I'm not there I want to be. - MyPark  944.4 #91 11:24PM
the only negative thing I can point out is it closes early on the off season= - pikarich  616.0 #177 11:31PM
Disneyland has a timeless nostalgic Walt feel to me....his influence is everywhere...California adventure is modern and more now....much better even since thenew buena vista street and cars land.....both parks offer unique experience that don't get old....I don't know if I could find negatives of either. But the positives they are abundant. Good luckmuch on the paper - DumboGal70  86.0 #3199 7:27AM
