I think with the Nightmare Before Christmas it is less scary and more animated. scariest part might be the elevator trip down and the loud sounds. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint

Agree ☺ my daughter tolerates the elevator ride but she closes her eyes and covers her ears because its too loud. Actually, if you can access mouse wait radio, I play the ones from there. I think it helps get them used to it. 😊 - figzchic 462.4 #264 9:25AM
I would play the Ghost In The Machine album for a two year old. Never too early to get them into great music - ScooterMike

Haunted mansion? It could be scary in the first room. Some children cry. But if your child can make it through that, the attraction is very fun. Just gage how your child feels going in the first room. Have fun! - minnieMisty

A haunted machine yes! The Haunted Mansion no. My daughter has been going on it since she was 11 months. - Keala76

Depends on the kid. Try it. If he or she gets scared you can always go back up or that can hide em under your arm. Haunted Mansion vs. Holiday layover. I think the holiday layover is less scary. - FantasmicFan82

It really depends if there are people that love to scream in there that usually makes the little ones cry - TikiJOSEsWingman

I cry! I'm not good with loud noises and when people do that it freaks me out -_- - KladiaDisneyNinja 195.4 #1693 11:07AM
My 4 year old niece freaked out in the elevator and was a little scared in the hallway but since we have seen NBC so many times once we hit the doom buggy loading area she loved it. - PopcornYeti

My 2 year old (almost 3) kept her face buried in my side the whole ride when we went a couple weeks ago. It was the NBFC version too. - BuccanEAR
