Melanie, I like our health care system, you can be private if you wish or go public. We go public, I costs me a total of $0 to have a baby, including all the appointments, c-sections, epidurals' with my own room with a shared bathroom. My ds broke his arm a couple of months ago, it took an hour in the emergency room to get a cast put on, xrays and cost us nothing. No, not really, unless you want to have surgery that's non-life threatening, that can take a while, like getting tonsils out or something, but if you have something really really wrong you get the absolute best doctors. My friend little girl had serious heart problems and she got Australia top heart surgeon for free.
