Just found this vintage, uncut, Cinderella apron pattern from one of my favorite thrift shops. It's probably from 1950 or 1951. It was an advertisement for J.C.Penney's and their Advance pattern line.

That's just so cool. Just shows how Disney was big into merchandising, even back then. Dapper Day? - ScooterMike  1963.0 #83 1:59PM
Walt Disney was and still is the best at merchandising - BaseballMickey_CM  7560.9 #11 2:02PM

crummy iPad pics do it no justice. I am wanting to get it framed. I had been admiring the vintage posters at the Walt Disney Family Museum last weekend and wanted something cool and vintage. Ta-Da!! - misschurro  6361.2 #17 2:05PM
Do you live in the Bay Area? That's where I live and I've been meaning to get to the museum for a while now. Is it just the best? - MissMolly  1355.3 #129 10:04PM

I will check it out :) I'm having a 70's roller skating party for my birthday in a few weeks...I need to find outfits for my husband and myself. - 2BeignetOrNot2Beignet  1420.8 #121 2:59PM
For a new sewer, stick with Simplicity patterns. Pajama pants are a really great start. Make sure you wash fabric first. ( stay away from flannel.) I used to teach it. ;-) - SueBayou  2019.0 #78 3:22PM
great tips, Sue! - misschurro  6361.2 #17 3:53PM
Thanks Sue! Yeah, we signed her up with Jo-Anns....the first class was a pillow case, and the second some shorts...the third was a nightmare. It is a gorgeous dress that was so complicated that it took 4 three hour classes to complete. She is only 9...what a mess. But the dress turned out so beautifully. She is now working on another dress, but with a much simpler design. - 2BeignetOrNot2Beignet  1420.8 #121 4:23PM
That's why I don't work there anymore. They wouldn't listen to the teachers. The classes were to complicated and they kept making them shorter. I finally convicted them to give me a class that was a work at your own pace. Had the same girls every week for 3 years. - SueBayou  2019.0 #78 4:49PM
