You can always make it a learning experience too. Have him look for thing that start with A,B,C... And have him count random things, that way you won't feel guilty taking him out ;) - MrsMinnie

I've done that with my daughter before, will do it again for her birthday this month. I figure, it's only 1 day (or maybe we do a half day) and what better than spend time with her? ;) - LBChica

I don't have my dad anymore, but some of the best memories ever were him taking us to Disneyland. Take her. She'll never forget it. I didn't. - Philliprocks

A lady in Hanford was recently arrested because her kids missed more than 100 days of school. Assuming you're nowhere near that benchmark, go for Disneyland! - LittleAprilShowers

I saw that on Great Day yesterday! So crazy! - LisaMouse7531 409.1 #318 10:33AM
100 days is a bit excessive. My daughter just missed 3 days for our last Disneyland trip and the school threatened me with truancy. Unfortunately for them, they hadn't anticipated that I know the law regarding this issue well. :) Education is important, we took her homework and practiced math, spelling, reading while there. Her classroom setting just happened to be at Disneyland! - firemomof2 128.4 #2604 10:57AM
It's a no-brainer! Go to Disneyland! LOL - HarvesterProducts
