I feel bad for the horses...although I keep convincing myslef that they are well taken care of...any CM's that can easy my mind would be appreciated. - JEDIminnie

I can't ease your mind as a cast member, but as a horse owner and animal welfare worker, I can tell you that these horses are doing what they have been bred to do for hundreds of years. they appear extremely well cared for and content . hope that at least helps a little ;) - tuesday737 1082.8 #79 11:14AM
Believe me, if a horse doesn't want to do something, they're not gonna do it. These ones seem fine. They don't appear overworked either, I've spent a day just chilling on main street and they switch out pretty often. - OkapiC 124.6 #2658 11:21AM
I have personally been backstage to the stables and let me say those are the best treated horses anywhere. They are very loved and well cared for. I wish my horses had a stable like that!! The cast members all adore the horses. - chipanddalefan 527.1 #219 5:33AM
I'm not a CM, but I've owned horses all my life. You can tell when an animal is not being treated well by his/her behavior: Disney animals are very clearly well cared for and happy :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar 436.3 #285 6:47AM
