Just found site/app this morning! Cool so far. Planning a trip to DL next year, late summer or pos. Christmas season (which we've never done before) What does everyone think about going in Dec.?
I have heard the actual Christmas week(2) are very crowded. We are going Thanksgiving week so we can still enjoy all the holiday decorations without quite as many crowds. If you don't have kids or don't mind taking them out of school, week after Thanksgiving is supposed to be good, too. If you go in the summer, I would recommend June. The earlier, the better. The weather was so much more pleasant then. It gets hot later in summer, and has been plenty hot lately, too. But...it is fun no matter when you go! You will just have different experiences in summer vs. winter. - meridafan

We were there thanksgiving day and the day after thinking that everyone would be home with their families, then Black Friday shopping... Boy were we wrong 😖 - simba77 230.3 #1234 12:06PM
We're leaving town on Friday. I know there will be crowds but shouldn't be as bad as Christmas. (I keep telling myself that! LOL.). We'll be in the parks Sunday thru Wednesday, so hoping not too bad. - meridafan 1031.9 #83 12:27PM
It doesn't get any more magical than Disneyland at Christmas time. You won't regret it, as long as you don't go the week between Christmas and New Years when the crowds are crazy. - Pollyanna702

So it's better to go before Christmas? We thought about trying to go on Christmas day (much to our parents dismay)... - 3kings4

Christmas season starts Nov. 12. Go then or the first two weeks in Dec. Otherwise you'll have a very crowded park. - MrsSchnooks
