About to embark on a pumpkin adventure...pumpkin chowfer (harbour galley about $9 w/AP), fritters (next to pirates; royal st veranda. 3for about $4), beneigts (bag of 3 @mint julep bar) and lattes (jolly holiday-not pictured). Review soon to come :p (edited)
ok, all this food (it was 4 chowders, 9 fritters and 12 beignets)was devoured by 9 people. we all came to the consensus that the fritters were waaaay better than the beignets. The beignets were not really pumpkin flavored IMO. The fritters were filled with pumpkin, the consistency of pumpkin puree. The outside was sprinkled with sugar and a bit of cinnamon. now for the chowder...i LOVED the chowder. it was topped with pumpkin seeds. it was creamy and delicious. and what i loved was that the bread soaked up lots of moisture and once the chowder was gone the bread was "scrapable" and moist. we wanted to pumpkin creme brulee, but got to cafe orleans too late (they close at 8pm - MaidMiriam

Fritters are at the walk up window next to pirates. Under the right side if the dream suite if you are looking at it. Royal street veranda is the name. - figzchic 462.4 #264 11:28PM
