Don't be in a hurry for anything. Just take your time and enjoy! - meridafan  1040.3 #83 3:07PM
Thanks...that's the plan.. I hope she isn't too young to enjoy herself.. i took my son at that age n he loved it... - pattygirl  3.1 #24826 3:11PM
^she will probably be in awe but she won't remember much if anything. At that age it's more for us to see the expressions on their face. They start to really appreciate it around 3 or older (usually). - aidensmama  336.6 #446 3:18PM
Lots of pictures. Cuz she will only remember what u show her in the pictures. - dimplesdanie  607.5 #180 3:21PM

1 year olds love the Swinging Gondolas on Mickey's Fun Wheel. - shadowgamer  1959.3 #36 3:23PM
Have her watch Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Toad so she can identify some of the fantasyland rides! Have a great day! - 7mouskedoodles  161.1 #2143 3:39PM
A one year old is not going to be able to watch those movies and make a cognitive link once at the park. A one year old probably doesn't have the attention span to watch a full movie either. Nice idea though. - aidensmama  336.6 #446 3:56PM
Exactly, while my swiftly written post sounded like a one yr old would be able to sit through, and cognitively understand a Disney movie that for sure isn't what I meant. When my kids were little we would always play classic Disney movies of the rides they would go on before our then, once a yr trip to the parks. They would listen to the movie, and music as they were playing, or doing whatever they were doing. At some point, the sounds become familiar, and the music is awesome for their little minds anyway. (Besides, It really got us excited to take our little one on the ride.) Aidensmama , sounds like you have a good idea of what is age appropriate for a one yr old! I like the name Aiden, my little one is Aaden too! Keep up the good work!😊 I wish for pattygirl to have many happy memories of taking her little one to the parks as we have! We are so blessed for the opportunity to bring them, and we are still blessed if we don't have that opportunity! Have a great night! - 7mouskedoodles  161.1 #2143 11:04PM
Even if they can walk and no longer use a stroller bring a stroller...little legs get tired quick. - lampwick  291.1 #668 3:44PM
What e-ticket said :) - lampwick  291.1 #668 3:44PM
Are you only doing Disneyland? if you are going to DCA I would do Disney Junior live and dancing with the characters. Bring lots of snacks in Disneyland plan on doing some things with no lines such as the area in toon town and tiki room or small world - montanadj  57.3 #3619 4:29PM
