from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you all for the shuttle pictures in the lounge today! I know it was a big controversy over being Disney related or not but in my eyes it is a huge historic moment I was unable to be a part of. with all of your pictures I was able to feel a connection to it all. again thank you all so much it is very much appreciated :)

Thank you to everyone for the pictures. I am originally for the Bay Area and now live in North Carolina and felt so sad that I couldn't be there to see this historical event. It was an emotional day for my family as my dad works for Lockheed and has worked on many space program projects including the shuttles and the Hubble Telescope. I had the opportunities to hear about the future of the space program and even see the Hubble Telescope. Every time my family went to Disneyland, Tomorrowland was our first stop. - McQueenGal  255.6 #950 5:02AM

Here here, I was stuck at work and despite our building being directly under the flight path, I managed to miss the whole thing because 2 minutes prior to it flying over us, the phone at my desk rang and I got stuck talking to a client (thanks client) while hearing the roar of the plane overhead. Missed the entire thing (thanks again client) - Grindcore  325.4 #501 12:14AM

I missed it by minutes too! I heard something but my boss saw me looking out the window and I said, "You can see it at 11pm. On the news." I almost cried! Then I snuck out only to hear I had just missed it. - MonteKristal  308.7 #566 1:55AM
I agree! Great post. Thanks everyone. I missed it due to work and became a little emotional over it but the photos that were posted eased me being upset. So many thanks! - MonteKristal  308.7 #566 1:53AM
YES HEAR HEAR!! I also missed it, my parents were in San Francisco and it was flying low there, it flew over my aunts house it was only about 200 ft above the houses my dad was in awe, and then all the great Disneyland photos, it makes me feel like i didn't totally miss it, I wish I could of been there in person at the park or with my parents or at the WDFM viewing out gallery 8! It's a very historic moment, and the fact that Disney posted signs all over, hearing the cheer of the crowds in the videos, it just touches you. Thank you again all for posting photos/videos!!! - 1963MaryPoppins  0.1 #70012 2:26AM

I work in Dublin and could just barely see it looking out of the office window. Probably could have had a better view with binoculars. - mightymike10  271.6 #810 5:10PM
