Hi everyone!! Hope you're all having a magical day!✨ I'm beginning to plan a trip to WDW in March or April...coming from SoCal... Where'd you guys stay? Is a package deal the way to go? How many days does it take to see it all!? I've seen this question posted here before, but it wasn't needed until now! Any info is appreciated! :)

I go all the time. I stay 7 to 10 days as there are four parks and so much to see and do. Always stay at Polynesian close to Disneyland on Monarail and easy to get to Epcot. All others near by with great bus system. Always use Magical Express to and from airport was awesome however always take my own luggage coming and only check with them going otherwise long delay for getting bags on first night fyi. Always book through Disney. Fav restaurants: At Disney Cinderellas Castle for lunch book early reservations, Crystal Palace is fun character Dinner buffet or lunch book early too. Hollywood studios love Sci Fi Dinner theatre and 50's prime time cafe. Hollywood and Vine has great buffet witj characters Iike for lunch. Epcot my fav is Biergarten has buffet and fun show, Akershus is hard to book but awesome. You will want a park hopper ticket for sure. Animal Kingdom I found a half day park and often jump to another park mid day. Location is key in WDW as no park can you walk to really you rely on their bus system or monarail. Really think about which park you want to spend most time in then stay closest to it. You will need days to rest so at least 6 or more in my opinion to enjoy it all. Hope you have fun! - Redman  64.1 #3499 3:52PM
Oh gosh. Now I want to go!! Great info! - meridafan  1032.6 #84 4:02PM
If you are an annual pass and it will expire next year b4 your planned WDW trip, its better to upgrade it as Premium Pass! 20% Discounts on merchandise, special rate for the hotel and u can add Dining Plan. I go for Value resorts coz its the cheapest. I will go for Pop Century and Art of Animation. - otilegna  854.9 #106 2:37PM
Also, for my last trip, 9 days is NOT ENOUGH! coz i dedicated most of my time staying dry and avoiding rain (August) and opted for table-service restaurant everyday - otilegna  854.9 #106 2:38PM
I went before they had the premier passes in 2010 so I did a package deal. I booked at smallworldvacations.com and they saved me $200 a couple months after we booked through them. We stayed 6 days/5 nights.. I wish we could've stayed longer but we were both doing summer school and I was on semester and Josh on quarter system so that's all we could do! We stayed at Pop Century and loved it! We visited each park and Epcot twice to really see it all. We also had a later flight returning home so we did a day at downtown disney since it's way bigger than ours. - SarahJoshDisney  69.5 #3405 2:43PM
Also we did the dining plan and made reservations 6 months in advance for Cinderella's Royal Table to eat inside the castle (this cost 2 meal credits each but so worth it for the experience!), we also ate at Coral Reef in Epcot for the dining underwater experience :) we did so,e others too but tose were the ones I'd highly recommend. Whatever you do, you'll have a great time!! :) - SarahJoshDisney  69.5 #3405 2:45PM
Royal table is really hard to get! but the interior is so Grand! - otilegna  854.9 #106 3:15PM

I can't help, as I've never been to WDW... But I will bump this in hopes that at least one MW'er with useful info sees it and can help you out! Good luck - SPandEvLover  762.7 #130 2:09PM
I've been! My bffls family took me along! We stayed at the Pop Century Resort, i think we did a package deal (I don't remember) and we were there for a week and did everyhing on our list, but a lot of people told me that to do EVERYTHING two weeks are good. - Kimmehface  196.0 #1683 2:24PM
Thanks so much for the advice!! 👍 - GrimGrinningAmanda  312.3 #544 9:12PM
And the time period you wanna go is lucky coz you will see EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival (weather is good i guess but not a lot of rain!) - otilegna  854.9 #106 2:40PM
You are absolutely awesome! Thank you for all of your help!! - GrimGrinningAmanda  312.3 #544 9:13PM
you're welcome! hope that you can make it during that time period! and spam the lounge room with all the Topiary Pics :) - otilegna  854.9 #106 9:27PM
Hi! We have been twice, once in June (so hot) and in April (great weather). Both times we rented a big house because we had a lot of people so it cost less. We went for 7 days non stop and still didn't see everything. If you have 10 plus days that be great, and you could relax more. You will have a wonderful time :) - piratelife4me  328.8 #476 3:34PM
Happy to hear the weather will be nice! Thank you for the help! 😊 - GrimGrinningAmanda  312.3 #544 9:14PM
Been four times, stayed off site two times, on site two times. Definitely recommend staying at a Disney resort. Just makes things easier. We have only done four days, and that has always been enough for us. Park hopper tix, and we always see two parks in one day. I book through the Disney website and go package. Have not done the dining plan yet. - Lelundrial  339.6 #430 3:43PM
Four days seems like the amount of days we'll be there, so your advice was just what I needed to hear! :) thank you very much! - GrimGrinningAmanda  312.3 #544 9:15PM
Also Polynesian has amazing Ohana restaurant with either a character breakfast or fun Hawaiian themed meal cooked live book either early. Luau also are right on property book early and the pools and beach are wonderful at Polynesian. And last bonus they have their own Dole whip machine major plus!!! - Redman  64.1 #3499 4:03PM
Haha a Dole whip that I won't have to wait 15 minutes for!? Never thought Id see the day! 😊 thank you for your post...I appreciate it! - GrimGrinningAmanda  312.3 #544 9:17PM
If you already have a annual pass, see if it is better for you to upgrade to premium, sometimes if you are going to go to WDW for a few days having the premium pass will give you a better deal on admission. - secretagentangel  662.5 #157 4:06PM
Plus you get discounts, though I have heard and not sure if it is true that the discounts do not go to all restaurants, and don't forget you can get a drink cup for the whole stay, look that up in the search feature and you will see a bunch of little tips too. Have fun!! - secretagentangel  662.5 #157 4:31PM
I really appreciate the info!! Thank you! :) - GrimGrinningAmanda  312.3 #544 9:12PM
I have also stayed at Yatch club which is beautiful and closest to Epcot. Their pools and rooms are beachy and fun. Farther from Disney but bus system is great and another fun hotel I love in WDW. - Redman  64.1 #3499 4:12PM
Thank you for the tips! :) - GrimGrinningAmanda  312.3 #544 9:11PM
Thank you to the amazing MWers who answered my questions! This app never ceases to amaze me...you're all rockstars! Thanks again! 😊 - GrimGrinningAmanda  312.3 #544 9:18PM
