Not sure if I'd take my newborn-ish baby on the Swinging side of the Death Wheel......but I guess some people might??!
Break em in early, so they don't have melt downs as toddlers. lol Like my grandkids. - splashphotoCM

1st time on RSR, my grand daughter ad her arms and legs wrapped around the pole screaming bloody murder. And she was ride sharing. - splashphotoCM 880.9 #101 6:14PM
Yeah, I'm not sure I'm down with the whole 'taking a newborn to Disneyland' concept at all.... - MariFICENT

We took our son at 6 months, and would have taken him earlier if we had the chance. It's no different than taking them to a local park, except at disney there is fun stuff for the adults to do too. He won't remember any if it, but it's a trip my husband and I won't ever forget because of silly things like the way his eyes got big as saucers on IASW. Just my 2 cents. - LittleAprilShowers 471.0 #257 11:12AM
Have you seen how fast those baby swings go??......if babies can handle those swings they can handle a swinging gandola. - Princessana08

Yaaaaaaa...... I would not attempt this at all. Maybe I'm over protective, but I couldn't do it. - abbeyroo68

I don't think that's being over protective. Babies brains are so fragile. I'd be worried it could do some serious damage. - aidensmama 336.5 #445 7:19PM
I would be more worried about it being swaddled up in that sling in this heat, the swing wont bother it. - Apples2

There seem to be horror stories about the swinging gondolas. - aidensmama 336.5 #445 7:33PM
I would be staying home with my baby in an a/c'ed house! - meridafan

I would never take a baby to Disneyland. They have to be able to walk on their own. Ridiculous to have a new born out like that lol. - Dezzi_Duck

heck no, i took my daughter before she was walking and it was great. she just stayed put. now...omg i'm running after her left and right, lol. - MaidMiriam 304.4 #588 10:56PM
Well yea that's a great advantage when taking them at that age lol. But I would think it would take alot from your time there? I could be wrong. I don't have kids so its just what I've always said. - Dezzi_Duck 28.8 #4431 9:09AM
I can't tell by this how I should judge this mother. - LaTruce

I took my son to Disneyland for the first time when he was 2 months old. I had my husband with me and although new born babies do need constant care,we had a great time and it didnt seem like work at all. My son has always gone on all the rides he was tall enough for and now at 4 he loves splash mountain, you name it. I love the fact that he isnt afraid of fast rides. - diznymommy84

Babies like rocking, but this might be too much. I wonder if the cm will let them on. - aidensmama

I would be concerned that the baby may be to hot especially being wrapped up and next to mom's body heat. It was quite warm again today. - RadiatorSprings4Ever

I think u would just pass on that and stay in the calm one lol but that's just me . - jmza4

Ehhh... Newborns spend so much time spitting up, why compound the problem with G-force (and possibly your own spit up)? - heydavis

I don't understand why someone would bring a new baby to the parks. I waited till my mini's were 9 months and more aware of their surroundings. A new baby is too sensitive to their surroundings, unable to regulate body temp, and it's not recommended sunscreen be used on a baby under 6 months of age. Not to mention is practically impossible to enjoy yourself because a new baby requires constant care. - UmFromUmbridge
