I have been budgeting my heiny (is that how you spell it?) off trying to make our anniversary trip happen. I've finally landed a (albeit part-time) job, I'm planning a yard sale next weekend, I'm making Halloween costumes for my husbands co-workers kids, and eating pbjs for the next three weeks. The good news: I think it will happen!!! Now for my query: does anyone know of a hotel, preferably within walking distance (I'm not afraid of a hike) that can be booked for about $40, including parking/fees? If so, where and who did you book through? If not, what's Disney's official policy on sleeping in your carξ? Thanks you guys!!!!
i work for a hotel in pasadena and we have a hotel in front of disney you just cross the street its called comfort inn. if the days are available i can try to get you the room that cheap but i need the days first so i can check what are the days? i would be giving you my friend and family rate. - Hendizl

I know how you feel when things go awesomely right..we had to cancel my bf's trip with me next weekend which is his Birthday due to an issue that is taking basically most of his extra cash now..it's disheartening when we had to cancel his part of the trip. I have an AP so I don't have to worry about a ticket where as he doesn't have an AP. So between a 2 day ticket and hotel he cant afford to make this trip this time. Something my wife almost did for the trip we are currently on is Priceline. They have a name your price option and you can select hotels near Disney for the price you want. The worst that can happen is they wont have a room at your price. You dont get to pick what particular hotel by doing this but I have heard of people getting great deals this way. - justme2012

We're staying at the Days Inn on Harbor for $55/night. That's the lowest/closest I could find. Includes parking & breakfast. Bit of a walk but not too bad. Also has a small shuttle if you want. Sometimes it's a bit of a wait so we usually walk - TonjaC

We're staying at the days inn Anaheim west, on ball. It's $55 a night and I don't know about extra parking charges but were walking to the tram (9 min walk) at Mickey & friends structure. I have used Priceline many times and honestly havent been disappointed yet. Although double check that they have free parking at the hotel..and if you have an AP parking is free at the structure. Please don't sleep in your car-it is your anniversary..skimp on something else like food if you have to. PB&J's are great park food! Where are you traveling from-maybe you could make a shorter trip and not need to pay so many nights in the hotel? We have driven down in the super early morning, enjoyed the park for part of the day-checked into the hotel for a nap and then went back to the parks around 4ish to close out the parks. - yellowtonka
