yeah, that is the only downside... for us we stayed at DCA for the countdown, it is nicer coz we able to see few fireworks and the WOC show (except for the finale). For those at DLand, they only saw LIGHTS! - otilegna 862.2 #106 5:25PM
oh yea i understand that part but to experience the park on a normal day when its all foggy would be awesome but yea your right i can see how it ruins new years. i bet it was still a great experience

Yep I was there for New Years & this is what it looked like. We could hear the fireworks but couldn't see them! Everyone just kind of looking around at each other... I love the foggy park. My last experience was a few years ago in December. Was great for getting some good pictures and I like going on outside rides like thunder mountain in the fog. It's a totally different experience. - junglecruise80

I really like fog! ( i used to lived in SAn Francisco before) and i was accustomed to fog every morning. I was even wering a San Francisco shirt that day :)... So when i saw fog was coming, IM SCREAMING for joy! (good times) - otilegna
