****our first RAK-a-doodle is closed**** we'll post the winner shortly :)
We want to thank everyone here that has given us a warm welcome. In honor of your kindness, and the re-opening of the Haunted Mansion, we'd like to give away one of these hand-made Haunted Mansion necklaces (Tink not included). it's an 18' chain and the charms are just under 2 in.
Since we're still pretty new around here we'd like to get to know everyone a little better, so all you need to do is tell us what your favorite Disneyland memory is and you're in. Also, tell us which necklace you like.
We'll choose a winner on Sept. 13th at 13:13.
To get the desk lamp bouncing we'll start.
My husband's favorite Disneyland memory is the first time we took our daughter to Disneyland during Christmas. She was almost 2 at the time. The whole day with her was amazing but being with her when the "snow" fell was something magical.
My favorite memory was when I was a very young single mom and a friend gave me 2 tickets to Disneyland so I could take my first daughter. Back then I was broke, working 2 jobs & didn't get to spend a lot of time with her so that day is something I'll always treasure.
Awesome RAK and I'd loved to be added. My favorite Disney memory is the one that my dad was on. It was when I was 14 and disliked my parental units at the time. He had gotten a bracelet made for me at the leather shop in Frontierland (sorry bad with names) and it had my name on it with a Tink embellishment on it. I've had it now for ten plus years and since he is no longer in my life I wear it proudly. It's been at every graduation and sadly every wedding I've had. It's my guardian angel bracelet. *blows nose and wipes tears from eyes* - deletedmyself

Please add me for the holiday one! That is soooo cute!!! One of my favorite memories (I can't pick a specific one, so I'm doing one of... I hope that's ok lol) is when I booked the Fantasmic! dessert reservation for my Mom's birthday in March. She didn't know about it and when we went to City Hall to "get her birthday button" I picked up the tickets. I set my phone up to record (she's a cryer! Hehe) and she went along with the flow. Then when we were walking out (when the camera was off) she stops on Main Street and says "Wait... Is this the thing where you sit in the chair and get the plate?" to which I nodded yes... And THEN the tears came! LOL Watching Fantasmic! with my mom in the reserved seating was magical. The show is very special to both of us and it was great to share it in that extra special way for her birthday π - SPandEvLover
