Tips and Tricks for Mickey's Halloween Party? This will be my first time going :)
If you have little kiddos they tend to head to the candy first. If you don't, go on all the rides and save getting candy for later! Lines at the treat stations are shorter during fireworks and parades and at the end of the night :) - IDVandalSkipperCM

Make sure that you are wearing comfortable shoes if you are planning to wear a costume. Remember, this is still DL and you're still doing the same (or even more) walking. - BaseballMickey_CM

Not like a luggage with wheels. More like duffle bags. - Slotherini 882.4 #99 10:40AM
We did fill a carry on suitcase with candy last year! Not at the park but for the flight home! - minigirl1156 411.7 #314 10:50AM
thanks for asking this because I had the exact same question - templeclan

Pooh's corner is the best place for candy, especially later as most people don't want to walk down there. Also if you don't want candy, most rides are walk-on. - mousekepuggie

What kind of candy do they hand out? Is it Disney made stuff or the typical Snickers, Kit-Kats, etc? - OhBother

Just standard candy. We got some dried apple slices as well as fresh apples in addition to the candy. - minigirl1156 411.7 #314 11:07AM
Typical stuff like that. It's just a big box of mixed candy. - IDVandalSkipperCM 1290.4 #63 11:08AM
They also do have a healthy snack option. Last year I remember seeing carrots, fresh apples, dried apples, craisins, and raisins. - IDVandalSkipperCM 1290.4 #63 11:11AM
Good!! My boys actually prefer fruit to candy--odd, I know, but I don't complain :-) - OhBother 202.7 #1586 11:47AM
You are MORE than welcome to ask for the healthy treat, too! - IDVandalSkipperCM 1290.4 #63 11:49AM
This will be our 1st year going as well. It looks like the amount of candy we are going to get is crazy!! - Ldgsg

Bring a reusable shopping bag for the treats. The bags they provide are too small and it's easier for us CMs to put the treats in - BaseballMickey_CM

On your way out, the CMs hand away even more candy! And I agree... wear a costume! It's so fun to see more than just kids dress up! - Gia
