Day in Disney History: September 5th 1927 Walt Disney's cartoon character Oswald the lucky Rabbit was introduced to the world in his first cartoon short trolley troubles. Although taken away from Walt in 1928 he was returned to the Walt Disney Company in 2006. Today he is still loved throughout the world from merchandise, to video games, and even his own fueling station in Buena Vista Street. Oswald was also featured in Disney's Easter Wonderland parade at Tokyo Disneyland. Happy 85th birthday Oswald
