Anyone up for a hike? or a really uncomfy ride thru the mountain? #Matterhorn
Uncomfy is right! It got worse - not better. I'm not going on it anymore. It hurts too much. Makes me sad. I really used to love that ride :( - HarvesterProducts

Do you think tying our jackets around our butts would help? My little one wants to ride it and I've heard everywhere it hurts now. - mrsmluvsit 9.2 #7178 9:57PM
A jacket won't help. Another thing is that the seating is strange. I kept slipping down and had to keep pushing myself upright. Same for my son and he is 19 and taller than I am. Anyone else notice that, too? - HarvesterProducts 172.8 #2000 10:22PM
Try bubble wrap. my legs got plenty knocked around. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1841.2 #43 10:56AM
I agree! My husband and I were about in tears when we got off of it :-/ - OhBother

My husband is so sad because I always sat in the seat behind him giggling but can't do it anymore. Hurts! He misses that. - MrsSchnooks

Always down to hike! It would hurt a lot less than ridin through it. π - AshleyLynn22

Umcomfy & boring!! We consider it a "kiddy" ride now. Disappointing! - GrimGrinningAmanda

I rather climb and then rappel down! That's soooo much fun - MarshaMouse

Is it just me or did this ride use to go a little bit faster?? I myself didn't have an issue with the new seating but I am a bit on the shorter side and dont need much leg room. But my mother who is 70 years old did have a bit of an issue getting out of them. - 2mousears

I rode this ride a couple weeks ago for the first time in years and it was a huge disappointment. My lower back hurt a bit and it's not due age lol - CaptainPirateKalven

Was disappointed too. Being tall the ride is super uncomfortable and does seem slower. The left side as your facing the mtn at the line is a little faster. Gonna see how my young son likes it tomorrow. - Duckfans

I used to love this ride before the refurb. The last three times I've been on it, I swore that I'd never go on it again, it is just way too uncomfy and bone-jarring. I'm not sure if the older sleds dampened the ride more or what, but this ride has become very undesirable to go on. - MoreGumboPlease

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so!! I was so excited for the remodel but after the first ride I haven't ever been in so much pain π - sarahnimal

The back isn't that bad the front is painful. I only go on at night it's ok ride I just like seeing Disneyland as it goes in circles lol - Hendizl 1378.0 #58 9:49PM
I'm not the only one who felt pain after I rode it. π£It was a favorite ride not any more! - PumkinQueen99

I went on the ride after I bruised my tailbone on a bus ride down to Disneyland. It was so painful! The ride didn't seem fun anymore. - jugglingjeremy

I'd love to hike through it. I think I'm one of the few that don't mind the new seats, but I always sit in the very front with my legs crossed and I don't lean back in the seat. - Linzee

Painful! No more Matterhorn for me :( - cinderelli

It was painful before. It's gotten worse?! My husband and I couldnt fit in one seat together because our legs are too long. I'd get thrown around sitting in the seat by myself though. I'm not looking forward to this ride now. I was hoping the refurb would fix every thing. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper
