On this date, September 4th, 1942, Walt Disney Pictures release a cartoon short "How to Play Baseball" featuring Goofy playing himself while being on different teams. This short runs through the basic rules, techniques and some gimmicks used in the game and ends with an exciting Game 7 of the World Series.
