http://tinyurl.com/2do8zqt via yesterland :] The Mike Fink Keel Boats (Gullywhumper and Bertha Mae) first appeared at Disneyland Dec. 25, 1955 and were the actual boats used to film the Davey Crockett programs - MEHlanie_Mouse

They were used seasonally and on busy weekends, and and were a "C" Ticket attraction which took guests around Tom Sawyers Island. In 1997, an accident occurred where the Gullywhumper flipped and dumped a boatload of guests into the ROA, and was since removed. In 2003 it was put into the ROA again, as a prop for Tom Sawyers Island. The other Mike Fink Keel Boat, Bertha Mae was sold on EBay for 15 thousand dolalrs. - MEHlanie_Mouse 691.7 #146 11:21AM
They overloaded that boat and caused it to capsize. That's why the attraction is no longer there. - shadowgamer
