I haven't seen the video yet of last night's Fantasmic (will when I get home from work), but I want to know for those who went: Was it good or did it detract from the main show. I especially want to hear from those who were skeptical about it. I was really excited, but I was nervous that it would be too distracting.

Personally I didn't feel they used the hats to the full effect. There were many periods of just pure darkened hats. It could be that there was lit hats in other sections I didn't see because the water front had to sit down, but I doubt it. - shadowgamer

It definately enhances the show and makes the audience a part of it. I just had to go last night after experiencing one of the AP GWTS nights for WOC a few months back. - ScooterMike

I watched the live stream last night and from the looks of it, the GWTS ears complimented the show, they didn't seem to be overly powerful to me. - MoreGumboPlease

I went to the WOC AP Glow event and loved it, but these are two different shows, which is why I asked. I'm really sad I didn't get to go, but I'm so glad that MW has tons of pics and videos to help me decide if I like it. - Sarafina

It was pretty interesting in how they used the lights. I would venture to say that it needed maybe one or two tweaks in places it could have been used more. But over all it really did make fantasmic pop just a tiny bit more. - Dipper_Pines
