I'm assuming you are talking about wearing them the entire day, for pictures, your vows and the reception. Here is my opinion...If your mother is helping to fund your wedding you should try and give her a few memories (and pictures) without the ears. If she isn't, well it's your wedding and you can do what you want. My mother and I had many arguments about my wedding, some were worth arguing about and some just weren't.
