Good morning! This day in Disney history, Aug. 27th, 1955. The Mickey Mouse Club Theater opens in Disneyland's Fantasyland. It was the official Disneyland headquarters of the Mousketeers until 1963. In 1964, the name changed to the Fantasyland Theater. It closed in 1982 (along with most other original Fantasyland attractions) for the New Fantasyland project. In 1983, it became Pinocchio’s Daring Journey. Anyone here remember these attractions?
I don't remember the theatre, but I do remember when Fantasyland was remodeled back in 1983. We would take the SkyWay over just to get a peak into what was to come. I remember the Fantasyland station was closed, so they let you take a round trip from/to Tomorrowland. - ScooterMike

I definitely remember that theater! We would go in there with our cousins to relax and watch cartoons after running around like maniacs all day. I think it took a 'B' ticket. - meridafan
