From our trip in April...Sad to think that might be our last trip for awhile. However, I'm happy at the same time because we found out that I am pregnant! So my question to you all is, at what age should we bring our baby to Disneyland?! I'm wanting to bring him or her when they are one! Lol however I know they won't really enjoy it or remember it. =/
Yeah I don't even know if I can wait until he/she is one! =/ lol I'm ready to make a trip already n I'm barely 2 months! LoL - MissMamyMouse

Exactly! It's more for me and my fiancé but ya kno, the baby too! And I wish I live close enough for a trip on the way home from the hospital! =) lol - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 9:54PM
I feel the same way. Your baby won't remember but you sure will. Well I think I hold some kind of record since I took my little boy at 5 weeks, haha. I love that you can actually wear your baby in a carrier (like a bijorn or moby wrap) on most of the rides - erincredible 199.6 #1637 10:02PM
And congratulations :) - erincredible 199.6 #1637 10:02PM
I honestly don't think your ever to young or old to visit Disneyland! Our older girls first went around 6-7 however, our youngest was 3months when she first went, she is now 6 and has been many times and loves evey bit of it! - Beej
235.6 #1156 9:25PM
I don't think your ever too old or young either! I just wanted to get some feedback from some of you guys! =) I cannot wait to experience Disneyland with my baby! I love love love Disneyland! - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 5:28PM
I have twin boys and they first went 3 years ago when they were 3 1/2. We took them again for their 5th birthday and it was amazing how much they remembered. They have now been there at 3, 4, and 5 years old and we will be there in 2 1/2 weeks for 6 years old and again in Feb. for their 7th birthday. Each trip is a new adventure for them as they reach the next height requirement (last time was Indiana Jones, this time its California Screaming).
You can take your kids there earlier but to be honest, it's memories for you that you get. By 3 they know the characters from TV and movies and can actually appreciate the first Mickey ears or shirt that you get and be something they want and will love. Also, as in my case as well as others, it is the memories they will have for a lifetime.

According to my mom she didn't take me or my brother to Disneyland until we were potty trained. Makes sense because watching my cousin worrying about finding a changing table nearby and making sure they bring enough diapers for my nephew seems stressful to me. - KermitFan13
406.2 #320 9:46PM
Makes sense however I've seen a baby changing station in every bathroom and more than one even. But I see where it can be stressful. - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 5:33PM
Assuming you'll be able to return multiple times, they're never too young. However, if it's going to be a once-or-twice-in-a-childhood thing, I would say to wait till 6 or 7. - LittleAprilShowers
471.0 #256 9:51PM
Oh we will be returning at least once a year! - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 5:34PM
Our sons first official trip was at about 3 months. It's so fun to watch them react to everything around them and theb to see those reactions change as they get older :) but I agree.. if it's going to be something that only happens once or twice a year, I'd definitely wait until he/she is a little older. I'd say 4 or 5 is a good age :) - MrsDisneyMommy29
262.6 #890 9:59PM
We will be going aT least once a year, if not more =) - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 5:36PM
just because the baby won't remember doesn't mean you won't ,start creating memories the moment that child is born because it won't be long before you're watching him/her graduate - dl811

Omg I kno! Watching my cousins grown so quickly makes me sad and now it's gonNa be my own kid! =\ lol so the sooner the better for our first trip as a family! =)) - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 5:37PM
I took my oldest for the first time when he was 6 months old and my second we took him at 3 months, it's a different experience but very magical. We also did my oldest 1st birthday at Disney and it was awesome! - PinTraderMater

I bet! I'm hoping that finances will allow us to go sooner rather than later, but either way, for sure by the time he/she is 1! =) hopefully sooner tho! - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 5:39PM
Congrats! Enjoy you time with the young one, take lots of pictures you won't be sissapointed :) - ZippADeeDani

I took my son when he was 3 months, 5 months, 9 months to wdw, 11 months, 18 months, 21 and 22 months, etc. I feel that it was good to introduce him early to the attractions and characters because he is almost 3 1/2 now and he isn't scared of anything. I've heard people wait until 2-3 or older and their kids get scared of meeting characters or even on the attractions... So whatever you want to do is best for you do it! Font listen to what other people at. Everyone told me we were crazy to take him so little but I wasn't going to not go on vacation because he wouldn't remember! - brodysmommy
243.6 #1060 10:58PM
That's so true! Even of he/she doesn't remember, we will and we will have the pictures to keep our memories and eventually share those with them! - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 5:41PM
Congrats! I took my first when she was 2 months and my second when she was 6 months; and that's only because we couldn't get to the parks sooner. - bnbheartdisney
240.5 #1104 11:03PM
Thank you! Yes that will be the only reason we take them later rather than sooner. =) - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 5:42PM
I took my son at 6 months. Athough, the trip was for my daughter who was 15yrs old at the time. I spent my mornings and evenings in the park and napped at the DL hotel during the afternoons with him. It made the trip so nice, fun and oddly enough relaxing. He enjoyed the kid rides with lots of colors and music. He even went on Pirates and handled the drop better then I did, lol. Anytime is a good time to bring them just remember going back to the hotel for rest, naps and feeds make the whole experience better. Congrats to you both!!! - Darlingfamily

Thank you! That's me right now! Lol I'm dying over here thinking I have to wait so long! =/ lol - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 6:28PM
I went up until I was far enough in my third trimester that no one would let me go. We live 1 1/2 hrs away with the birth center being another 30-45 ins away from here and I have super fast labors so no one wanted me to have a car baby LOL It was torture! - Autoalice 135.7 #2506 6:37PM
Omg I bet! I'm dying already! Lol I'm ready to just go for a weekend just to be there n admire the parks! Lol ahh! N I can go on the little kid rides and my favorite haunted mansion! =)) - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 12:10PM
We took our first at one and our second was 3 months. They won't remember but we have pictures and we had a great time. It's a whole new place when you have kids no matter how little they are!! Congrats!! - mickeyboo

My mum and I took my sister at 2 months and we had a blast. It's such a fantastic photo opportunity for the tiny minis. She doesn't remember it of course but she loves the pics from that first trip and I think it's those frequent early visits that kick start a love of the parks. - makingmemories

Exactly! Totally different experience but an experience you won't forget!! And thank you! =) - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 1:38PM
I'm bringing my baby girl to Disneyland in march when she will be almost 4 months. I've been on the lookout for good places, and Disneyland is SO baby friendly. There's a nursing station, plenty of changing tables in the bathrooms, plus they have the kid swap passes so you can still enjoy rides. I'm even taking a trip next month when I'll be 8 months pregnant, just because I can't let myself miss Disneyland during the holidays. Congratulations!! Disneyland really is great for all ages. - briana3292

Thank you! Yeah I'm due in April so I'm thinking for Halloween or Christmas time but maybe sooner! LoL - MissMamyMouse 175.0 #1924 1:34PM
congratulations you guys! we absolutely LOVE just being at disneyland, so we brought our daughter when she was about 1. let me just say, trying to push a stroller through crowded disneyland all day is nuts. honestly, bringing her at that time was more for us than her :) ages 2-4 were the awesome years (for all of us). at that age kids love the characters, colors and parades. around 4 or so they can start going on a lot of the "children's" attractions. no matter when you go it's awesome to "re-discover" disneyland through their eyes. - OhanaPhoto
