anyone know what's up with the planes flying over Disneyland tonight? I thought DLR and WDW had temporary flight restrictions.

Checked the FAA TFR list, the the DL TFR has not been lifted. Do note though that it goes to 3,000ft and applies if you are not in contact with Air Traffic Control (which means that ATC could alow you to fly over the parks). - SteamNinja 38.2 #4055 8:53PM

The flight restrictions have not been lifted. Only flights with special clearance may fly over Disney Parks. - dlmickeymouseCM

I noticed this and was super-freaked out by the fly over today---- I told my hubby I thought maybe there had been a terrorist attack or something. Glad there wasn't, but it was weird- those jets were LOW - minnieteacher

Back in June I remember 3 navy choppers flying over... They actually circled the park once and kept going... I remember being slightly freaked out but I was was eating a Dole float at the time so I wasn't so worried :) - lampwick
