So glad you got a refund! Did you go through a formal shoe fitting (where you run on a treadmill and they watch your stride and stuff)? If not, doing one of those should help. I know they do that at Road Runner and Fleet Feet. Also, I have terrible feet (15 years of going barefoot for coaching and training in gymnastics combined with running and wearing heels all the time in college). It was so bad that I actually went to a podiatrist and got custom insoles about 8 years ago. They were pricey, but they have totally saved my feet, knees, and back and allowed me to stay active.
