I'm not too picky. I stay on Harbor all the time. In fact, I'm at the Tropicanna right now. I didn't have that "fresh feeling" when we stayed at the Castle. - LaPearleNoir 574.4 #192 12:38AM
Fresh like Doug E Fresh? Or a summer breeze? 😜 - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1802.8 #42 8:35AM

There is a very cool documentary I need to find again that is on Youtube about the old hotels that were around the parks that my friend from HoJo turned me on to years ago......for instance did you know where the Mimi s Cafe is was once a Mexican restaurant and right next to it was a movie theater that even stood there until maybe 14 years ago....and yes maybe some even remember the BOOGIE? a night club or the movie theater next to the Hojo or the miniature golf course....these are not things from 30 40 years ago but less than 15 - Dave

It was the Acapulco. We ate there once or twice on our visits to Dland. Vaguely remember the movie theatre. - jjdq 326.7 #491 8:35AM

Wow, I used to ride in that "bug". My grandparents used to take me to DL once a year and for many of those trips we stayed at the Fantasy. Seeing that again brings back so many memories, thanks for posting... - CVDisneyland
