Lion King to become fifth longest-running show in Broadway history: http://t.co/wbksWqpo Disney’s landmark musical event, The Lion King, will play its 6138th performance this Wednesday, August 15, at 2:00 p.m, becoming the fifth longest-running show in Broadway history. The Lion King will surpass the original Broadway production of A Chorus Line (with 6137 performances).
