Someone told me yesterday that I'm too old for Dl and I should go to Vegas instead. Of course I told him there's no such thing, but geez, the nerve of some people.
I've been to Vegas, but I prefer Disneyland. - ScooterMike

Some adults spend countless hours playing online computer games, others go to bars. We just happen to have a love for magic and being happy. I do love Vegas, but you can never be too old for Disneyland! I'm sure whoever said that has their own guilty pleasure. π - kanastarr

I have enough adult issues and concerns to deal with in real life. Enjoying Disney is a way to balance out my life βΊ - Spoonful_O_Sugar

i have been told there are other places than disneyland so i know how you feel i just ignore them i think they are just jealous people who were never given the opportunity to enjoy disneyland like us. - DOPEY13

People say this to me too, but I've been to other places and they're not as fun and magical as Disneyland :) - tikiwhip 200.9 #1616 11:05AM
I love the Vegas. If it was as affordable as a Disneyland annual pass, I'd be splitting my time between the two places all year. - LaneSparrow316

You can easily gamble away the cost of a premium AP in a very short time in Vegas. - ScooterMike 1959.8 #35 9:41AM
I used to live in Vegas. I have no desire to go back. If someones into the whole 'what happens in Vegas' thing; then more power to them, I personally never saw the appeal likeI do Disneyland. - rebray10

Vegas is gross and dirty and full of drunks. Disneyland trumps Vegas any day - KissDclown

Don't listen to them...I got more flack for taking my 85 year old grandma to Disneyland and the MW reunion in May...than if I'd taken her to Las Vegas and let her drink and gamble her money away. Sheesh... :( - Darlingwendi

But she loved it! Some people! Sheesh is right! - MoonWillow 367.4 #378 8:40AM
^yes, and we have amazing special memories. :) (she asked about you last time I saw her :) ) - Darlingwendi 631.1 #171 9:04AM
She is so sweet! Tell her I said 'hello!'! My 71 y.o. mom loves Disneyland, too so yes, special memories are made there for sure :)
- MoonWillow 367.4 #378 9:17AM
Seriously I don't know why people give some of us some flack because we like to go to Disneyland. It reminds me of when I was getting my nails done for my wedding and the guy who was doing my nails asked where we were going for our honeymoon and I said Disneyland he started laughing and wanted me to cancel and book Hawaii instead even though my wedding was the next day amd we were leaving right after. Lol. - DisneyPrincessFreak

Last time I was in Los Vegas was 1964. No desire to go back. What happens at Disneyland I can share with anyone and don't have to be afraid to answer the door. We will never be to old for Disneyland. - Tealtownfan

I was told by a person in my family that I needed to grow up because I was going to be an embarrassment to my kids when they got older. I told her she needed to lighten up! - MoonWillow

You're never too old for DL. I'm an adult, which just means I'm able to define what that means. To me, it means being able to goof off and act like a kid whenever I want to. Besides, if you blow all your money at Vegas and get headaches from too much alcohol, wouldn't you rather put that money into DL tickets and churro headaches? - NachoBear

I turned 21 this year and chose DL over Vegas...it's just more my style and no one really seems to get that...My older brother thought I was crazy and then he got over it! Hope yours do too! When is your bday? - disneykimmi 115.7 #2795 9:55AM
My birthday is September 19. It's hard to believe ill be 21 next year. I'm like, "But I don't feel like an adult yet!" π - Simbaholic 30.4 #4341 11:30AM
I'm not "too old" for Disneyland but everyone thinks that at 22 years old, I should prefer to go to Vegas. Not so!! I love my Disneyland! - sarahnimal

I guess it depends if you like magical imagination kind of fun or scantily clad drunken kind of fun. To each his own! DL for me please! - GraceyFace
236.5 #1145 10:20AM
Sometimes Disneyland IS scantily clad drunken fun (as I learned last visit) but I think still more fun than Vegas. - 559MickeyLover 266.9 #855 11:03AM
To clarify; it was an observation last visit! Lol I am in no position to be a participant.
