My daughter got home work this afternoon & was upset because a co-worker told her there were more than 10 "Lands" at DL alone. Guess it ended up quite the heated conversation! We looked it up to verify and got to wondering if Main Street counted as 1. It would be the same for Buena Vista Street. With that in mind, we counted 8 lands for DL & 8 for DCA. Are we right or are we wrong? You be the judge...

Depends if the person is counting old names of lands or lands that are no longer there at all (Bear Country, Holidayland)and probably counting Tom Sawyer Island as a separate land too. You are correct in saying Disneyland only has 8 lands and that Main Street is considered one. - shadowgamer

Tom Sawyer Island is part of Frontierland. - ScooterMike 1959.8 #37 8:15PM
It will always be Tom Sawyer Island to me. - ScooterMike 1959.8 #37 8:24PM
I know it's part of Frontierland, I'm saying the person who said there was more than 8 probably thought it was a separate land. Also, it is still Tom Sawyer's Island, the official name for the attraction on it is "Pirate's Layer on Tom Sawyer's Island". God help them if they ever rename it. - shadowgamer 1960.6 #36 8:33PM
